A driver without a license has caused chaos in Pamplona: five crimes in a single afternoon

The Pamplona Municipal Police have arrested a 29-year-old aftercommitting five crimes in a few hours . The arrested man stole a van, drove without a driving licence, collided with several vehicles and seriously hit two people before being arrested.
The man stole the vehicle on the Second Esplanade and shortly afterwards, while driving through the Rochapea neighbourhood, hit a motorcycle from behind, in which two people were travelling, who suffered minor injuries, and after the collision climbed onto the sidewalk and fled.
After walking a few yards, the driver zigzagged back to the roaduntil he hit several vehicles that were standing at a red light. Instead of stopping, he went on at great speed untilhe hit the edge of a roundabout in the same neighborhood.
A local police officer who was not working and several witnesses approached the wrecked vehicle to assist the driver, at which point the young man opened the door, set the reverse and accelerated it, hitting two women, causing serious injuries.
Local police patrols immediately arrived at the scene, reduced the man and arrested him, accusing him of five offences: reckless driving, refusal to undergo alcohol tests, theft of unlicensed use of the vehicle, serious recklessness injuries and lack of a valid driving licence.
