A truck failure caused long traffic jams at the AP-8 in Mendaro
Traffic jams have reached four kilometres, as a breakdown early in the morning forced a lane to be cut. After 10.30 a.m., after the truck was removed from the road, traffic has returned to normal.
A tanker truck suffered a mechanical breakdown on Thursday at Kilometre 62 of the AP-8 in Mendaro, resulting in withholding in the Bilbao sense.
The incident, which took place early in the morning, forced the emergency services and the Ertzaintza to close one of the lanes, with withholding up to four kilometres.
Shortly after 10:30, after the truck was removed from the road, traffic has returned to normal.
