A truck and van collided on the AP-68 motorway off Amurrio, causing up to8 kilometres of withholding in the Vitoria-Gasteiz sense.
The accident took place around 1.30 p.m. and three people were injured , two of whom were taken to Cruces Hospital and one to Galdakao Hospital, according to the Department of Safety and Security.
The head of the truck has been removed from the track, but at 5.30 p.m. both the trailer and the van were still on site. The traffic situation remains difficult in the area, where two lanes are currently closed.
