Arrested in Hondarribia the alleged perpetrator of three gun robberies in Oiartzun
The 23-year-old has been jailed and found that the weapon used in the robberies was a fogeal gun.
The Ertzaintza has arrested a 23-year-old in Hondarribia as the alleged perpetrator of three robberies with violence and intimidation committed on Friday in Oiartzun, who has been placed in prison on the order of the Irun Guard Court.

According to the Department of Safety and Security, the first attempted robbery took place at a car wash point, where the suspect, with his face covered and a gun in his hand, threatened to hand over his wallet to a person who, seeing that the victim was not carrying a wallet, left the place.
He then tried to reach the cash register in a local establishment, but failed to do so, and shortly afterwards entered another establishment and stole the cash register with the money inside it, before fleeing by car.
He was captured in Hondarribia.
As a result of the investigation and the device deployed by the Ertzaintza, around 12.30 p.m. on Saturday, a patrol located a vehicle in the Guadeloupe area of Hondarribia that matched the description of the suspect.
Seeing that the characteristics of the male inside matched those of the alleged thief, the officers arrested him.
After being arrested, the Ertzaintza found that the weapon used in the robberies was a fogeo gun. The young man has been brought before the court on charges of three counts of robbery with violence and intimidation, and the latter has ordered pre-trial detention.
