Children star in the Vitoria festivities with the descent of Edurne and Celedon Txiki

The festivities of Vitoria-Gasteiz will live today Children's Day, one of the days of greatest interest among families, with Edurne and Celedon Txiki as the main protagonists, this year starring the 12-year-old girl from Haizea Lauzurica Bereziak and Ekain Gonzalez, the 12-year-old blouse from Los Desiguales.

The day will begin at 10:45 with the floral offering of the children of Vitoria-Gasteiz to the White Virgin in front of the hornacine and in the chapel of the church of San Miguel.

At twelve o'clock, Edurne and Celedon Txiki will descend from the Tower of San Miguel to the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca, and the event can now be followed live.

At noon there will be jacks of the Acordes Navarros in the Prado Park and the Herri Kirolak Championship in the Plaza de los Fueros. An hour later, the Comparsa de Gigantes, Cabezudos, Horses and Chot will tour the streets of the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca. In the Plaza del Machete there will be a bertso-session with Eli Zaldua, Peru Abarrategi, Maddi Ane Choperena and Beñat Gaztelumendi.

In the afternoon, at 5:00 p.m., the blouses and girls' gangs will take their usual walk, with the participation of Edurne and Celedon Txiki, from Fueros Street to Postas Street.

Programming will continue with musical and cultural proposals throughout the afternoon and evening, with Falerina Gardens hosting Ghosts and Edgar Allan Pop concerts, and Moonshine Wagon performing in Santa Maria Square.

On the festive night there will be the Dance of the Age and Chulalai, the traditional Fire Bull, the concerts of Me vale madre, PI L.T., Neomak, Sedientos de Cumbia and Alaska on Tour, and the XXII International Show of Pyrotechnic Shows of Vitoria, in Mendizabala, with the fires of Pibierzo Piroteknia.
