From the tower of Rapunzel to the haylands of Urbasa
Disney's shooting in Álava has left one of the most striking images of this production: the construction of a tower more than 30 metres high in the San Martín campgrounds in Valparaíso, in the Valdegovia Valley.
The shooting in Álava has already left the town after completing the planned scenes. The production has prepared for several weeks the scenography and logistics necessary to work in this natural place.
The "enchanted" forest as a new scenario
The next stop is in Urbasa-Andia , one of the most unique wilderness areas in Navarre. Since 6 August, the Government of Navarre has temporarily closed the trails SL-NA 290 Morterutxo and SL-NA 291 Zelaiaundi-Hayedo Encantado , as well as the parking lots of Sorosgain, Morterutxo and Bioitza due to film filming.
The measures will be maintained until the end of August, according to information released by the Foral Government, to ensure the safety of visitors, technicians and equipment and to reduce interference in filming.
