A 20-year-old motorist was seriously injured last night in Burlada after the motorbike he was driving left the road and crashed into a traffic light. The young man is admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Navarra University Hospital, where he has suffered a severe blow to the head.
The accident occurred at around 9 p.m. last night at the confluence of Bizkarmendia Street with Ezkababide Street. Apparently, the driver lost control of the motorcycle, left the road and crashed heavily into the traffic light structure, pulling it out of the base.
Officers of the Foral Police, the Burlada Local Police, firefighters and health personnel immediately approached the scene of the accident and the young man was transferred to the hospital, where the Foral Police arecurrently investigating the incident.
