Big Week is coming to an end, and Marijaia is ready to say goodbye
Marijaia will be set on fire at 10:30 to rest until next year. The event will be broadcast liveon Orain and ETB.
After nine days of music, colorful and good atmosphere, Bilbao will close this Sunday's 46th edition of Aste Nagusia with the farewell and burning of Marijaia in front of the City Hall.
Onintza Enbeita banker and Ainhoa Urrejola will be the txupinera at the event that will begin at 21:30 at the Uribitarte pier, and Marijaia will be burned an hour after the last txupin this year.
Several trainees will take Marijaia on the way tothe Town Hall zubi, accompanied by flares and pyrotechnics, and the txosnas will turn off the lights.
The town hall will set up sound towers along the route so everyone can hear "Agur Marijaia".
