The European Commission has included ChatGPT, Reddit and Roblox among the major digital services that will be subject to stricter controls and obligations under the European Union Digital Services Act (DSA).

The Commission shall pay particular attention to matters relating to the dissemination of illegal content, the protection of minors, the physical and mental well-being of users, fundamental rights, electoral processes and public safety.
Four months to adapt
The three companies will have four months, untilthe end of November 2026, to meet the additional standards for the largest platforms and search engines.
With these new appointments, the European Commission has 28 large platforms and search enginesunder the specific supervision provided for in the Digital Services Act.
