The alleged murderer of Azpeitia is still awaiting trial
The alleged murderer, a 43-year-old man, turned himself in early Saturday morning at the Ertzaintza police station in Ondarroa and was seized of a short firearm he was carrying.

After several days of searching and searching at various locations in and around Azpeitia, the alleged murderer, a 43-year-old man, appeared at 5.30 a.m. at the Ondarroa police station, where he was arrested on charges of murder with a firearm.
The detainee, who has a record of public health offences, shall be brought before the court after the relevant proceedings have been completed.
They call for caution.
The City Council wishes to call for caution, especially with respect for the relatives of the deceased and all the persons involved, said Mayor Nagore Alkorta after learning of the arrest.
