Six people arrested in Beasain after searching a busy block dedicated to drug trafficking
In addition, 12 other people in the building have been evicted. Agents have seized cocaine, speed and hashish ready for sale, as well as various items stolen from garages and storage rooms.
The Ertzaintza and the local police have arrested six people and evicted 12 others from a occupied building on Senpere Street in Beasain in a macrooperation against drug trafficking.
Following an investigation, the officers searched the building with judicial authorization and found narcotic substances ready for sale in some of the houses, such as cocaine, speed and hashish, as well as objects stolen from various garages in Gipuzkoa and Navarra.
According to the Ertzaintza, this is not the first time the building has been searched, which was also intervened last April, when stolen tools, clothing and electronic equipment were seized.
According to the investigation, most of the occupied flats were inhabited by criminals — who were engaged in crimes against property, drug trafficking and receptionism — and whose functions were meticulously distributed within the structure.
