A man rescued on Ondarreta beach
Around 7:15 a.m., the man was rescued from the water by firefighters, who then transferred him to Donostia Hospital.

A man was rescued this morning at Ondarreta beach in Donostia-San Sebastián, and after being rescued by the fire brigade, he was taken by emergency services to Donostia Hospital, according to the Basque Government's Department of Safety.
Around 6:30 a.m., a witness alerted the emergency services that he heard cries for help from the water at the end of Ondarreta beach, at the height of the Eduardo Chillida promenade.
Emergency services and firefighters have moved to the site and rescued the man from the water around 7:15 a.m.
The circumstances of the incident are currently being investigated.
