The accident occurred just off Urda Station, minutes before 9 a.m., when a train from Renfe crashed into an Iryo train that was standing, and dozens of people were also injured, so the death toll is likely to rise.
The train accident took place at around 9 a.m. in front of the station in the Toledana town of Urda. A train from Renfe apparently hit the Iryo train from behind, resulting in the derailment of two cars from the latter, according to sources from the Ministry of Transport, who have reported numerous injuries for the time being.
