Erika Kirk, wife of Charlie Kirk, has promised to continue the legacy of her late husband

Conservative Charlie Kirk's wife, Erika, has promised to continue her husband's legacy this past Friday and warned those involved in the murder: "If they previously thought my husband's mission was strong, they have no idea what they just lit up in this country and around the world."

"You do not know the fire you have lit inside this wife. The cry of this widow will be heard all over the world as a cry of war. Message to all who hear us this evening in the United States: the movement that my husband built will not die," Erika observed in her first public appearance since her husband's death.

Erika Kirk gave a speech at her husband's desk, where she made social media videos.

The conservative activist was shot last Wednesday while participating in a university debate at Utah Valley University in western Utah.

U.S. President Donald Trump has received words of thanks from Erika Kirk and expressed his intention to attend Kirk's funeral, which will be held in Arizona, but it is not yet known when or where.
