Iberia cancels flights to Venezuela until 31 December

Iberiahas suspended its operations to Venezuela until 31 December, following the recommendation made on Monday by the Air Safety Agency (AESA), thus extending the suspension of flights agreed with that country on Saturday, airline sources reported on Monday.
According to Iberia sources, its intention is to resume flights to Venezuela "as soon as all security guarantees are restored".
Iberia has been the first Spanish company to announce a suspension until 31 December , but other airlines are valuing doing the same, while at Madrid-Barajas airport dozens of passengers are still unable to return home, waiting for a connection to Venezuela through connections to other capitals, especially Colombia.
