U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he will "soon" begin attacking targets inside Venezuela, continuing the bombing of Caribbean and Pacific ships.
"We're going to start these attacks from the ground, it's much easier. We know the routes they take. We know everything about them. We know where they live. We know where the bad guys live.
With the same argument, the New York tycoon has considered bombing other countries because he has predicted that "anyone" who produces drugs or sells them to the United States is "targeted."
Trump 's statements come a few days after he telephoned his Venezuelan counterpart, Nicolas Maduro, amid tensions arising from US military deployment in Caribbean and Pacific waters, alleging a fight against drug trafficking.
