Twelve people have been killed by Russian forces in Ukraine in the last 24 hours in Donetsk and Jerson, in the east and south of the country, local authorities reported this morning.
In particular, six people have been killed in Donetsk and 19 injured, according to the military administration, while six people have been killed and 27 injured in drone and aircraft attacks in Jerson.
Two of those killed, including a 35-year-old cashier, were killed by a Russian drone at a gas station, where nine people were also injured.
During the night, Russia has launched at least 272 long-range drones of different kinds against Ukraine, according to the Air Force.
Missile, drone and bomb-guided attacks have targeted front-line regions, as well as cities on the Russian-Ukrainian border.
