The epicenter of the earthquake has been located at sea in the state of Aragua, near Caracas, and has been felt in thearea, but the tremor has not caused material damage.
The earthquake has been recorded at a depth of 10 km , according to USGS information measuring seismic activity in the world.
Venezuela is living through crucial hours to rescue the victims who were trapped after the collapse of several buildings, especially in the state of La Guaira, where last Wednesday there were two earthquakes of 7.2 and 7.5 degrees.
