Ebola outbreak kills more than 500 people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo
According to local authorities, 1,561 cases of Ebola have been confirmed, 253 of which have survived the disease.
The latest outbreak of Ebola has resulted in at least 506 deaths in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, according to local government reports on Monday.
It has also confirmed 1,561 positives, 253 of whom have managed to overcome the disease.

The latest outbreak of Ebola was declared on 15 May in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ituri province bordering Uganda and South Sudan.
