The disappearance of seven women and the alleged murders are under investigation in the United States
Police are investigating the disappearance of seven womenin the United States, as well as possible murders, following the discovery of numerous suspicious audio-visual material in a home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Police are investigating the home of photographer and film director Raymond Horsch, who worked and published erotic and terrifying themes in his films, photographs and books until his death in 2025, according to BBC and NBC media reports.
The investigation began in June because Horsch's son misplaced his car, in which he was found with drugs and weapons, and a woman accompanying him provided an ID with the name and surnames of a woman who had disappeared years ago.
According to American media, after starting pulling that thread, they searched the house, which belonged to the filmmaker, and found a lot of suspicious material, including recordings of missing women in different situations, chemical substances, and five cinderella containers, where Horsch allegedly made the recordings.
Suspicions, yes, but no evidence.
The police are reviewing all this material and, for the time being, have no evidence that any murder was committed in that house.
A total of 58 women have been identified in the recordings, five of whom appear on missing persons lists and two others have not been found. Some films contain murder scenes , but the police have not yet confirmed whether these murders are real or fictional.
In the United States, this investigation has created a scandal and numerous media outlets are following the police investigation on the ground.
