The Basque Government's Department of Safety has activated the yellow warning for Saturday afternoon, from 18:00 to 22:00, for storms and hail in central and southern Álava, so heavy rainfall is expected during this period.
Specifically, 15 litres per square metre are expected in one hour, while more litres are expected in central Álava and south.
In addition, there will be moderate and stormy showers, especially in the west, with hail and strong winds (60-90 km/h).
It should be noted that throughout Saturday the yellow warning has been issued for high temperatures up to 18:00, with temperatures above 30 degrees, while in the Basque Country temperatures have been lower, around 25 degrees.
