In the Basque Country, the Basque Government's Department of Safety will activate at 5 p.m. the yellow warning for heavy rains in Álava, which will be in effect until midnight. Moderate and stormy showers are expected, which can be locally strong. At some points on the Mediterranean side, more than 15 litres of water can be accumulated in an hour per square metre; especially in the south of the territory, where they can exceed 20 litres per hour.
