The "Made in Spain" section will present 28 titles at the Festival
We will be able to watch the films of Ana Lambarri and Julio Medem, "Everything I don't know" and "8", released in Malaga. In addition, productions involving EITB, "Nosotros" by Helena Taerna and "La infiltrada" by Arantxa Echevarría, have been programmed.
The "Made in Spain" section shows a sample of state film production and will bring 28 films to the 73rd edition of the San Sebastian Film Festival.
The series will release four feature films and a worldwide short film, including the latest works by Albertina Carri, Arantxa Echevarría, Bethlehem Funes, Cesc Gay, Oliver Laxe, Eva Libertad, Julio Medem, Javier Rebollo, Celia Rico Clavellino, Carla Simón and Helena Taerna.
Fernando Colomo and Mabel Lozano will open the section with "The Delights of the Garden" and "April, Today is No Winter" respectively, and Gonzalo Hergueta will close it with "The Designer Is Dead".
"Nosotros" by Helena Tavern and "La infiltrada" by Arantxa Echeverría will also be seen.
The programming is complemented by other titles that reflect the diversity and vitality of the current Spanish cinema, in a section that has become one of the main showcases of the Festival.
