The public competition to elect the new director of the Festival has begun

The board of directors of the San Sebastián Film Festival, composed of the City Council of San Sebastián, the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, the Basque Government and the Ministry of Culture of the Spanish Government, has today, 4 March, launched a public competition to select the new director of the festival, as explained by the Festival itself in a statement.
Batea, a human resources consultant, will manage the process to elect Jose Luis Rebordinos as the current director who will leave office on December 31, 2026.
As detailed in the bases. · "According to which a person with a higher university degree, a high level of English and communication skills in both Basque and Spanish will be selected and the knowledge of French will be valued."
