The Arrigorriaga City Councilhas shown its "strongest condemnation" of the transphobic attackon a EH Bildu councillor in the town last Saturday.
In a note released today, the City Council expresses its solidarity with the victim and thanks those who "intervened, supported and actively responded to the situation."
Such attitudes demonstrate that solidarity and collective responsibility are essential in the face of hatred and discrimination.
In the same vein, EH Bilduhas also denounced the "constant transphobic attacks and insults" against the councilman. "We will not tolerate any intolerant aggression and attitude.
