The operation also includes the arrest of Cristian Corvillo, Sanchez's driver in the 2017 primary Pedro, who is linked to the PSOE and Commissioner Victor de Aldama, who was tried in the Supreme Court in the Koldo case but not imprisoned.
In addition to Sanchez's former driver and Ábalos' partner, there have been four other arrests.
PSOE asks the PP for explanations for alleged payment to Koldo
This operation coincided in time with the confession made on the SER Chain by Koldo García, former adviser to Ábalos, that the lawyer of the Partido Popular, Alberto Durant, offered him release and compensation of EUR 1 million in exchange for making statements against President Pedro Sánchez, even if it was a lie.
The PP has denied having made this alleged economic offer, and the PSOE has requested explanations from popular leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo.
