"Negotiations and short-termism are not the way to achieve justice," he has proclaimed, recalling that they refuse to negotiate "with terrorists or their political and social environment."

Covite has lamented that the allegations filed between 2016 and 2019 have been filed by the National High Court because the judges ruled that the welcome were "demonstrations of joy" and did not humiliate the victims.
