With regard to the incidents that took place in Vitoria-Gasteiz on 12 October, the Security Adviser of the Basque Government has stated that the Ertzaintza will "analyse these behaviors and provide an appropriate response". The detainees were charged with a crime of public disorder for throwing stones and various materials at agents of the security apparatus. They were also involved in the counter-demonstration against the action of Falange Española.
