Santurtzi City Council has transferred to the Public Prosecutor's Office the case of the alleged leak of Municipal Police examinations
Following the analysis of the e-mails of former Security Councillor Sonia Lopez, the government team has decided to initiate proceedings to present the facts to the Bizkaia Public Prosecutor's Office.

The Santurtzi City Councilhas transferred to thePublic Prosecutor's Office the case of the alleged leaking of the Municipal Police examinations, after analysing the emails of former Security Councilor Sonia Lopez S.
On Thursday of last week, Lopez appeared before the municipal commission investigating the alleged leak of a examination of the public offer of employment that was called and denied the responsibility initially charged to him and claimed that he had been pressured by the PNV but, he said, did not comply.
Prior to the appearance of the former councilwoman, themayor of Santurtzi, Karmele Tubilla , had resigned for "personal, family and political reasons"and denounced the fact that the otherpolitical parties were using it to damage the image of jeltzales.
As reported on Friday by the Santurtzi City Council, following last week's latest information committee on the selection of non-commissioned officers and the formal request to see the emails of former Councilwoman Sonia Lopez, the councilwoman has been asked permission to examine them and have been reviewed.
Following this review and the legal assessment of the Secretary-General of the City Council, the Santurtzi City Council Government Team has taken the decision to initiate the necessary proceedings to bring the facts before the Public Prosecutor's Office.
