EH Bildu prepares a process for municipal and foral elections and for the Navarre Parliament
It calls on its bases to "participate and be part of the task of shaping the political and electoral offer of left-wing sovereignty with an ambition commensurate with the challenge."

Coinciding with the start of thenew politicalyear , EH Bilduhas launched preparationsfor the municipal and foral elections and the elections to the Navarre Parliament, and has therefore called for participation in the internal processes "to be part of the work of shaping the political and electoral offer of left-wing sovereignty with the ambition of the challenge ".
In a statement, the abertzale coalition has reported that from today the sovereign left will begin preparations for the municipal, foral and Navarre parliamentary elections lan, which will havea"significant impact" on political activity in 2026-2027.
Thus, in the coming days, the members will be working on the composition of the electoral boards of Álava, Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa and Navarra, as well as of Vitoria-Gasteiz, Bilbao, Donostia-San Sebastián and Pamplona.
Between 27 and 29 August, the members of the Assembly may vote on the composition of the Committees responsible for monitoring and monitoring the candidacies of the capitals and countries, which shall consist of a representative of each political partyin the constituency or electoral area comprising EH Bildu, when there are two or more of them, as many of them elected by the relevant Assembly, and a head of the list once elected.
In this way, the sovereign formation has stated that in the coming weeks "they will be responsible for receiving, analysing, voting and proclaiming the nomination proposalsof the first municipal force of Euskal Herria ": those for the presidency of Navarra, the Member States of Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, and those for the mayors of Vitoria, Bilbao, San Sebastián and Pamplona.
He has stressed that the functions of these Electoral Boards will include studying nomination proposals in the lightoftheir "suitability to meet electoral challenges".
It also states that, from a political and territorial point of view,they must form "balanced, pluralistic and highly capable groups"; make a complete proposal for lists for ratification; and "ensure compliance with the criteria of suitability, plurality, territorial balance and parity" laid down in the Statutes and Regulations.
