Pamplona City Council criticizes the Vito Quiles initiative in the capital and displaces the ultra agitator initiative

Vito Quileshas called for an event this Thursday in Pamplona, in response to which several local agents have called for protest , the City Council has criticized the ultra agitator and, as a result of his initiative, have had tomove at least two other events.
The Government Delegation in Navarre has approved the holding of the Quiles event scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday, which was originally to take place in Plaza del Castillo, but in the same place, at 5.30 p.m., a demonstration against the ultra agitator has been called, so the Government delegation has decided to move the Quiles event to Yamaguchi Park.
Quiles will start a state-widetour of the Navarre capital on Thursday. In the case of Pamplona, various groups, organizations, youth movements and trade unions in the region have called for mobilization against it and the formation of an "anti-fascist wall of containment" in Plaza del Castillo.
The groups believe that today we aredeveloping a "reactionary wave"that seeks to curtail rights and strengthen what they call "the national oppression of Euskal Herria."
In this context, they have advocated the need to question the public presence of people who legitimize and reinforce these ideas.
On the other hand, the Pamplona City Council Presidential Board approved on Tuesday a declaration in defence of coexistence and democracy, rejecting hate speeches, the spread of lies and attempts to delegitimize electoral processes in the face of Quiles' visit.
The initiative was put forward by the Socialists of the City Council and went through in a point vote with the support of UPN, EH Bildu, PSN and Geroa Bai of the first three sections and the abstention of the PP.
The ultra agitator's initiative has also forced a change in the location of at least two events, one of which was convened by the Empty Hand Association in Castle Square on the occasion of the Day of Pregnancy, Perinatal and Neonatal Mourning, which will finally take place in the children's park of the University Hospital of Navarre.
They also had to change the location of the Izeia group's presentation of their new show, which was originally to be held in Castle Square on Thursday at 7 p.m. The presentation will finally take place on Friday in Villava.
