The latest proposal approved by Hamas remains unanswered and the US has announced a "big meeting" at the White House.

Following the meeting of the Israeli Security Council, it seems unlikely that Netanyahu's government will stop the occupation of Gaza. This decision has caused great anger among the families of the hostages. Today hundreds of thousands of people have taken to the streets of Israel in mass but not mass demonstrations. 

Thousands of people have taken to the streets to pressure the Israeli Government and demand the signing of a ceasefire agreement for Gaza involving the release of the hostages. Throughout the day, marches have been held in several Israeli cities and some of the most important roads in the country have been blocked.

At today's meeting of the Israeli Security Council, two major issues are on the table: the invasion of the city of Gaza and negotiations for the release of the hostages. Although Hamas accepts the mediators' latest proposal, Netanyahu has changed the terms and demands the joint release of all hostages and the disarmament of Hamas.

Zamir believes the operation in Gaza City endangers the 20 hostages who believe they are still alive and joins the proclamation of the hostages' relatives.

Summoned by relatives of Israelis abducted in the Gaza Strip, a massive demonstration has been held again against Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, urging him to accept the ceasefire agreement approved by Hamas.

It has already taken the first step, as Israeli army sources have confirmed the deployment of troops around the city. In addition, it plans to activate an additional 60,000 reservists so that Netanyahu's government can compete with the Aramada from September onwards.

The Israeli prime minister, accused of bribery, fraud and abuse of trust, will have to appear three times a week from that date. Netanyahu is the first head of government to be tried in Israel's history.

The United Kingdom, France, Denmark, Greece and Slovenia have warned of the danger to the hostages and have stressed that the humanitarian situation in Gaza would worsen.

"This is the best way to accelerate the end of this war," the Israeli Prime Minister said, adding that there is no famine in Gaza and that everything is "a campaign of distortion."

The Palestine Action Group has been legally classified as a "terrorist organization" in the United Kingdom since July, following the vandalisation of two aircraft at a local air force military base.

The Bilbao-Palestine popular initiative has concentrated in the Circular Square to call for the release of Palestine and denounce Netanyahu for "crimes against humanity."
