Brussels has thus responded to an initiative put forward by a Spanish citizen who denounced the fact that the requirement of the Basque language for access to public health posts may be a disproportionate obstacle to qualified professionals and may affect the quality of care.

 EB's Commissioner for Transport has been in favour of suspending the time change and setting a single timetable. In his words, there is "scientific evidence" that changing the time "harms" citizens. 

The proposal must be adopted by the European Parliament and the Member States in order to succeed. 

Aena said on Saturday that Spanish airports had no problems, but that flights connecting  to other locations in Europe have caused delays due to incidents related to the Collins Aerospace system.
