CC.O. has re-elected Unai Sordo as Secretary-General with 96.1% of the votes for his last term

Commissions Obreras has re-elected Unai Sordo as union leader for the next four years. In his first speech after the election, Sortu called for the fight against corruption and announced mobilizations for the reduction of working hours.

Thanks to the votes of 96.1% of the members participating in the 13th Confederal Congress of the CC.OO., the Basque trade unionist has begun his third and final term , as prescribed by the statutes.

In his closing speech to Congress, Sordo called for "deepening democracy" and "ending the scourge of corruption."

In addition, it has announced 'mobilizations' in favour of a reduction in working hours. On Monday they will contact UGT to press for political groups to adopt a regulation to reduce working hours.
