This briefing would take place on 24 June, after participating in the next meeting of the European Council, following the latest judicial decisions affecting the PSOE, in which the opposition and members of the government have called for explanations and early elections.

The President of the Spanish Government has defended in Congress the "constructive opposition" of the PNV and has expressed his willingness to continue to have support to complete the legislature. He has done so after the jeltzale party asked that the executive should govern "alone or in company."

The decree allowing contracts that expire this year (from 21 March to 31 December) to be extended for two years and an annual income increase of a maximum of 2%.  was in force since 20 March. 

The summary will propose half a dozen amendments to the groups in Congress on the way to an agreement and with the aim of giving the green light to the paper, which summarizes the proposals made by the other parties except the PP. 

Except for last-minute surprise, Congress will repeal the Decree-Law allowing the two-year extension of rental contracts ending between 21 March 2026 and 31 December 2027. 

Among other things, the text proposed by the purple people called for the cessation of all military activity in the United States at the bases of Rota and Moron, and the restoration of the greatest increase in military spending in the history of Spain.

They also call for an increase in the catalogue of banned weapons and for greater control over Internet sales. The initiative has been successful with the support of PP, Vox and UPN.

On 27 March, the Spanish Government and the Basque Government agreed in a bilateral committee to tighten up and strengthen the sanctions regime on the carrying of white weapons. In this regard, the Minister of the Interior Fernando Grande-Marlaska has stressed the need to carry out legal reforms and to raise awareness of society in order to address the problem in an 'appropriate and coordinated' manner.

Vox's spokesman for the Constitutional Commission, José María Sánchez García, confronted the Vice-President of Congress and a lawyer on Tuesday, who has been warned on several occasions and has finally been expelled. Sánchez García complained that a ERC deputy, Jordi Salvador, had uttered serious insults such as "murderer", "ignorant" and "criminal".

The economic measures plan to mobilise EUR 5 billion. Only Vox voted against and PP and Podemos abstained.

The Socialist spokesman in the Lower House, Patxi López, has accused the PP leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, of making "dirty use" of the victims of ETA. 

Miriam Nogueras Junts spokesperson at the Congress of Deputies has advanced that they will vote in favour of the anti-crisis decree if the PSOE includes among its measures the non-payment of VAT by self-employed people who invoice less than 80,000 euros.

According to jeltzales, these measures "will help make the final price of electricity and fuel more affordable for families and self-employed people." The abertzale coalition welcomes the fact that it has received three proposals sent to Sanchez, but criticizes that the measures will increase the profits of large energy and oil companies.

The Decree-Law will be adopted in Congress next Thursday and a detailed plan will be put on the table, structured in four areas: structural measures, a tax package, specific aid to affected sectors and assistance to vulnerable persons.

The left-wing parties welcome the initiative that will take place on 9 April in Barcelona. Summary and PSOE welcome the actions and talks that will help build a left-wing front.

The decree will be passed on Friday in the Council of Ministers and voted on next week in Congress.

The spokeswoman for EH Bildu in the Congress of Deputies, Mertxe Aizpurua, has stated in Euskadi Irratia that the coalition government led by Pedro Sanchez has made efforts to ensure that the measures of the social shield are carried out, so she has not considered the condition of Junts to support the withdrawal of the decree from the moratorium on evictions.

The second repeal of the Decree has lifted the suspension of evictions of vulnerable families, as well as other fiscal and business measures, the main ones contained in the Social Protection Decree.
