Counsellor Pedrosa: "The Euskera test has dropped 0.5. Is it significant? We have seen a decline in USaP at the state level

The Minister of Education of the Basque Government, Begoña Pedrosa, has been to the Faktoria programme of Euskadi Irratia, where she has talked, among other things, about the results of the USaP. With regard to the Euskera exam, she has said that with regard to the Euskera exam in the USaP the note has dropped 0.5.

In fact, in the regular USaP call, based on provisional data, the average grade in Basque Language and Literature has been 6.34, above the provisional overall average (6.33). The results have been lower in other subjects: History, 6.10; Chemistry, 5.94; Mathematics, II, 5.08; Mathematics applied to the Social Sciences, 5.05; or Physics, 3.98.

The Counsellor for Justice calls in Parliament to work for the truth, justice and dignity of victims of torture by the public authorities

The Justice Counsellor, María Jesús San José, has said that torture was an abuse of power and has strongly condemned it. She has said that the Evaluation Committee has officially recognised 183 victims. The associations of victims Egiari Zor and Berridatzi have also come to Parliament and have called for the deadlines for applications for recognition of victims to be extended.

About support for Begoetxea ETS: "Success cultural must be helped and not punished. "

The Minister of Culture of the Basque Government, Ibone Bengoetxea, has supported the grant to the Alavés group ETS after more than a hundred musicians have questioned it. He has made it clear that 'cultural success must not be punished, but must be helped'. Bengoetxea has thus answered a question from the Member of Parliament of Supre, Jon Hernández, at the full control of the Basque Parliament.
