On 18 April, in the capitals of the Basque Country, we invite you to leave your mobile phones and enjoy the family

Organized by the Basque Government, Donostia-San Sebastián, Bilbao and Vitoria-Gasteiz will celebrate the Day without Mobile Family, which aims to promote a more conscious use of technology in families. It has been presented by the Counsellor for Welfare, Youth and Demographic Challenge, Nerea Melgosa, as a "small gesture of caring for emotional well-being and restoring the value of shared time."

Maria Ubarretxena: "Our demands have little to do with the interests of Aena's private fund, we want to promote public service."

With regard to Aena's handover to the Government's agreement with the Spanish Government, the Government spokesman has said that he understands "the position of the other side", since although 51% of Aena belongs to the State, in that other 49% there are private funds seeking benefits. He has stressed that the Government would like to devote investments for Basque airports to improving infrastructure and "getting more flights and connections" and not to cafes and shops that would bring greater benefits to these private funds.

Torres has welcomed the agreements reached with the Basque Country and has stated that everyone 'respects the Spanish Constitution, the Gernika Statute and the legislation in force'

Minister Ángel Víctor Torres has described the meeting of the bilateral commission as "productive" and has highlighted the "great work" that has been done previously. He has also advanced that both administrations have opened up lines of negotiation to reach agreements in areas such as industry and energy, health or immigration in the future. e believes that a model of cooperation based on "agreement, institutional freedom and efficiency of governance" is being established.
