The President of the Government of Navarre has also announced another change. Miriam Marton has been appointed Director-General for Social Protection and Development Cooperation.

The President of the Navarre Government will appear before the media this Thursday to explain her decision.

The President of Navarre has stressed that it was precisely her Government that "requested internal and external audits and is collaborating with the Committee of Inquiry opened in Parliament" with a "transparency exercise". As Secretary-General of the PSN-PSOE, she has stressed that she was not aware of what was said in the UCO's latest report and has strongly rejected the facts "because we come to serve politics and not to profess it".

UPN and the Navarre PP have attacked the President of the Foral Government, María Chivite, while the PSN has lamented the "unacceptable behaviour" of former socialist leader Santos Cerdán.

Under the slogan 'Don't be surprised by winter on the road', the Foral Government has launched a campaign for citizens to have their vehicles ready.

During the plenary session of Parliament, Chivite said that 'it is as anti-system to cross containers as to spread lies that undermine institutions and democracy.' 'Let us not be surprised that when the ultra-right get over you, you are doing the dirty work for them,' he told those who suggest that there is corruption in the government.
