The aim of the Spanish Government is to inject all cattle into regions close to the border with the French State, namely the Basque Country, Navarra and Aragón, since in the last few hours new sources have appeared in the French State, also close to the border, with the aim of preventing the spread of the disease from reaching other communities.

The 2026 budgets amount to EUR 6,471 million, 4.8% more than last year, and the highest advance accounts in Navarre. UPN and the Navarre PP have attacked the President of the Foral Government, María Chivite, while the PSN has lamented the "unacceptable behaviour" of former socialist leader Santos Cerdán.

Under the slogan 'Don't be surprised by winter on the road', the Foral Government has launched a campaign for citizens to have their vehicles ready.

During the plenary session of Parliament, Chivite said that 'it is as anti-system to cross containers as to spread lies that undermine institutions and democracy.' 'Let us not be surprised that when the ultra-right get over you, you are doing the dirty work for them,' he told those who suggest that there is corruption in the government.

More than 100 trucks have protested this Saturday in Pamplona against the "imposition" of tolls on the roads by Navarre transport and have called for "fair taxation, improvements in infrastructure, generational relay and effective measures to ensure the professional dignity of carriers".
