Queen Sofia of Tudela Ospital Family Anternational Medical Resident bat (BAME) has reported that she wassexually assaulted by a hospital co-worker while on duty in the emergency service.
The Department of Health of the Government of Navarre has confirmed that once the case was heard, the relevant protocols were activated, adding that the victim filed a complaint and that the case is in the hands of the justice system.
The doctor reported his case on the Instagram account of writer and journalist Cristina Fallaras, who reported that the attack took place on January 5, 2025, and that she has filed a complaint with the Occupational Risk Department of the Navarra Health Service and the Foral Police.
In the published message, the victim explained that the center where he works had decided to file the case on the grounds that he had no evidence and that after the attack he had been insulted by the aggressor and had been rejected by the rest of his colleagues.
The Foral Government has assured that, following the complaint, a number of precautionary measures were taken, including working shifts to prevent the victim and the alleged aggressor from joining.
