Victims of male violence

During pregnancy, women have a close relationship with the health system: they have consultations with midwife, gynaecologist and nurse. As could be the key to identifying situations of gender-based violence. Anternational experts in San Sebastian have called for a coordinated response from the health and social spheres in the summer course on Violence and Motherhood.

The women, aged between 30 and 59, have been assaulted by their partners, two of whom have been arrested and a third has allegedly committed suicide. Auardia Civil investigates another case in Malaga. 

The crime took place early in the morning in a house in Alameda de la Sagra.

Hours before the body was found, a man committed suicide in the village and the National Police are investigating whether the two events are related.

Several witnesses saw a man assaulting a woman in a service area in Ribaforada, and thanks to the help of the public he was stopped and arrested and was also driving under the influence of drugs and without a driver's license point. 

The attack took place in the early morning hours of Saturday 11, at 4:45 a.m. in Gaztelugibel in the Navarre capital, where the San Fermín festivities are being held these days.

The families of children who have been victims of crimes against sexual freedomat the summer camp in Bernedo (Álava) have broken their silence and spoke to EITB for the first time. Mira and Leire are the mothers of two girls aged 12 and 14. Ten months ago, their daughters reported the victims at the camp.

At least six women who went to his office have filed a complaint against the man, one related to rape and the rest to sexual assault. Astelehen was arrested, but has been provisionally released for "health reasons".

A man was arrested today on charges of killing his wife and one of his daughters and seriously injuring another. On Wednesday, he was found dead in a woman's body in Malaga, where he had been missing since March.

Mothers of girls who have been victims of sexual freedom crimes at the summer camp in Bernedo have called for measures to prevent a repeat of what happened.

Virginia Urtaran, lawyer for Maialen Mazon's family, has valued  that the popular jury has not accepted the arguments the defense put forward as mitigating.

In the resolution, the arguments put forward by the defence as mitigating, that is, that at the time of the murder the accused was under the effects of alcohol or had a mental disturbance, cannot be considered proven, according to the jury. 

In the Araba Territorial Court, the parties are presenting their findings today in the trial for the murder of Maialen Mazon. The prosecution and the charges claim 45 years for murder, two abortions and the abandonment of a minor.

8 children of women killed by male violence against women in 2025 have been assisted. The assistance is aimed at children who are minors at the time of the mother's death and can be applied for until the age of 21. 

The events took place around 7:30 in Carabanchel. The health services were only able to confirm the death of the woman. Her head was beaten. As the investigation progressed, agents located a man in the house where the victim lived and near the scene and arrested him on charges of murder.
