Victims of male violence

Dozens of people have gathered at noon in front of the City Hall behind a banner with the slogan "Santurtzi, no to macho aggression." 

The Judge of the Bilbao Court of Instance considers that the two requirements for the Courts of Violence against Women to take over the investigation are met, namely the existence of "acts constituting a crime of homicide" which "occurred against a woman who has had a relationship with the investigator".

The victim, a 38-year-old woman, is still in the ICU, where she was stabbed by her partner in the family home and in the presence of her four children. a woman was taken by helicopter to Cruces Hospital, and one of the victim's daughters, a 15-year-old, was slightly injured by her father.

Under the slogan 'Feminist Self-Defense in the Face of Aggression', a loud demonstration was held this afternoon in Berriz, where hundreds of citizens joined the protest called by the Feminist Movement to strongly denounce yesterday's macho aggression, to which Emakunde has also joined. 

Convened by the Berango City Council and the Women's Association, the 44-year-old Berango woman who appeared dead with signs of violence was remembered this Tuesday.

The victim, a 44-year-old woman, died after becoming unwell.

The judge has rejected the plaintiff's request that the former police chief should not communicate with the woman on the grounds that "there is no danger". 

The Minister of the Interior has stated that the alleged perpetrator of the fire and his former partner, Dolores, 58, were in the VioGen system, but because of their relationship with other people. On Monday, 16 February, the victim filed a complaint with the Ertzaintza, and on Tuesday the alleged aggressor was arrested.

The rapporteurs who have examined the case claim that we are dealing with a criminal enterprise acting with complete impunity. Sexe-slavery, enforced disappearance, torture or feminicide. 

The victim is a 64-year-old woman who, after being stabbed several times, has been taken in a serious condition to the Castellón General Hospital, where she has died, while the alleged aggressor, a 70-year-old man, remains in custody.
