Victims of male violence

On Friday, the fifth session of the trial against the alleged murderer was held in the Provincial Court of Álava. Today, two experts from the Ertzaintza have testified that several samples of the defendant's clothes were being examined. Specifically, a stain on his pants and two stains on his shirt and slippers have been investigated and it has been concluded that the blood was blood stains and coincided with Mazon's DNA.

On the fourth day of the trial for the murder of Maialen Mazon, the mother of the alleged killer has also declared that her son is not capable of doing such a thing "under normal circumstances." 

On the second day of the trial for Maialen's murder, several witnesses have testified that Maialen was killed on 27 May by her partner in a hotel in Vitoria-Gasteiz, stabbing her 13. The charges say she acted with intent to kill, for which a 45-year prison sentence has been requested, while the defense alleges that she was "disconnected from reality."

The arrest was carried out by the local police of the Navarre capital early on Sunday.

Scheduled until the 15th, it will begin with the election of the popular jury. The prosecution requests 45 years' imprisonment for the accused.

The alleged aggressor was arrested early in the morning, and while in the custody of the Ertzaintza, he had a health problem at the police station. The Department of Safety and Security has opened an internal investigation to clarify what happened.

The victim, a 38-year-old woman, is still in the ICU, where she was stabbed by her partner in the family home and in the presence of her four children. a woman was taken by helicopter to Cruces Hospital, and one of the victim's daughters, a 15-year-old, was slightly injured by her father.

Under the slogan 'Feminist Self-Defense in the Face of Aggression', a loud demonstration was held this afternoon in Berriz, where hundreds of citizens joined the protest called by the Feminist Movement to strongly denounce yesterday's macho aggression, to which Emakunde has also joined. 

Convened by the Berango City Council and the Women's Association, the 44-year-old Berango woman who appeared dead with signs of violence was remembered this Tuesday.

The 45-year-old man was taken to court around 3 p.m. and at 5 p.m. he was still there. 

In the face of this new macho murder, theFeminist Assembly of Asauri and Coordinator Emakumeok Bat have asked citizens to take tothestreets  and express their condemnation A0, ensuring that social mobilization in the face of "macho terrorism" is a fundamental tool.

The victim, a 44-year-old woman, died after becoming unwell.

The judge has rejected the plaintiff's request that the former police chief should not communicate with the woman on the grounds that "there is no danger". 

The Minister of the Interior has stated that the alleged perpetrator of the fire and his former partner, Dolores, 58, were in the VioGen system, but because of their relationship with other people. In the case of the man, he was registered in 2007 and in the case of the woman in 2008. At the moment, they were not active in VioGen. 

Equality is not yet a reality. Women have lower wages, they take on a greater burden of care, and they live under the threat of male violence, even in the digital field.
