A man has been arrested in Berriozar for violating a restraining order against his former partner with knives in his hand
After attempting to assault her ex-partner, she removed the security cameras from a garage and punctured the wheels of the woman's vehicle.

The Berriozar Local Police, in a joint operation with the Foral Police, arrested a 53-year-old man accusedof violating a restraining order against his former partner and of attempting to assault him, specifically of violating a precautionary measure and causing damage.
In this police operation, the officers managed to protect and assist the woman and her minor child, according to Foral Police in a statement.
The events took place in the early morning hours of Monday to Tuesday, when the neighbours alerted the local police to cries and threats from the detainee's home, where the minor was also, and when the officers went to the house the man fled.
The officers rescued the minor and took him with his mother to another building in the municipality.
Shortly afterwards, the alleged attacker went to this second building and managed to gain access from the garage.
Once inside, he removed the security cameras and, using three kitchen knives, punctured the wheels of his ex-partner's vehicle .
Berriozar police intercepted the man in the garage itself.
