The lehendakari wants to make his way "together with society" and has expressed his desire and need for "continuous collaboration", thanks to which "self-demand" can be fed every day. 

The Chief Executive of Vitoria-Gasteiz has also opted for  diplomacy in the face of the global clashes. He has called for "dialogue" and "diplomacy" to be replaced by weapons.

Having said that, he has said that he will continue to "stand firm on the path taken, without distractions."

The lehendakari has stressed the need to make a "qualitative leap" towards the future of the Basque Country and, in this context, has expressed the need to establish a new paradigm in the process of normalization, "avoiding confrontation".

"Fortunately in the Basque Country we have a different political climate. We are not in the mud of the Madrileños," the lehendakari said when asked about the possible consequences of the Cerdán case in the Basque Country.

For the President, the Spanish legislature "has entered another phase" following the alleged corruption cases that have occurred in recent days. "The situation is very serious and an ethical line is at stake that cannot be crushed," added Pradales. 

Asked what has not been done well in his first year as President, Imanol Pradales has said that he would like "some agreements to be extended, especially in budgetary matters." Moreover, the President has criticized the fact that there have been times when members of the government have publicly expressed their disagreements. "We could have avoided them by doing cooking work beforehand," he added.
