The official closing ceremony of the Sanfermines has been crowded, with the square overflowing with candles lit by the attendees. Delegates who were candidates for the blow shot but were not elected have been responsible for putting an end to the festivities.

After nine days of partying, the Comparsa de Gigantes y Cabezudos held its last dance in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Pamplona before returning to the Palacio de Ezpeleta, where children and adults greeted excited giants, heads, tickles and poles until next year.

The famous Jandilla cattle ranch put an end on Tuesday to the Sanfermines 2026 enclosures in a quick and dangerous race inwhich bulls have fallen several times, catching runners underneath, bringing a total of seven people to the Navarra University Hospital Complex, two of them corneated and five others by blows. 

As soon as the eighth and final confinement of the Sanfermines is over, the Hermanos Aldaz carpentry has been removing the 2,700 boards that make up the fence.

The bulls of Jandilla have travelled in 2 minutes and 25 seconds, and nine people have been taken to the University Hospital of Navarre.

Today is the day of the elders in the sanfermines. Mass has been held in the morning in the church of San Lorenzo, and an official reception has been given to the centuries-old people at the Town Hall of Pamplona. The rhythm and joy have also been transferred to the Casino with the traditional Alpargata Dance.

The bulls of the Miura cattle ranch have not failed in their eleventh participation in the Sanfermines. The race has been fast, dangerous and clean, and they have gone almost the whole way together.

Those gathered in the castle square have stressed that those who have to stay at home are the harassers and the perpetrators of sexual assault, and have expressed their affection and support for the victims and encouraged them to "occupy the streets and squares, not to remain silent".
