At the opening of the Conference for the Peaceful Resolution of the Palestinian Conflict, which began in New York, French President  EmmanuelMacron has officially recognized the Palestinian State.  The Conference is sponsored by France and Saudi Arabia, outside the General Assembly that the United Nations will begin tomorrow.

The proposal made by the Palestinian group includes the release of half of the 48 hostages in Gaza in exchange for a 60-day ceasefire. The official proposal will be received this week by the President of the United States.
