The Bad Plus performed one of the last concerts of their farewell tour at the Vitoria-Gasteiz Jazz Festival. The American band finishes its career of 26 years, 16 albums and thousands of performances and starred in one of the most emotional dates of the last day of the 49th edition of the festival. Giant and Anthem for the Earnest thrilled the audience of Mendizorroza.

The veteran American band satisfied the audience last night at the Vitoria jazz festival in Mendizorroza. 

Gretchen Parlato and sextet voice Take 6 complete the poster of the first night of the Mendizorroza concerts of the Vitoria Jazz Festival. Jazz will be played in the Alavesa capital until Saturday. 

The 44th edition of the festival also reaches the gardens of Santa Catalina de Iruña de Oca and Antezana de Foronda, as well as Vitoria.

The British musician is the main name of the second day of the festival, but many other interesting artists and groups will be present today on the stage of the Bilbao BBK Live: Mars Lasarte, La M.O.D.A., Alabama Shakes, Belle and Sebastian, Tomora, Soulwax... 

The surprise concert of Alcalá Norte and the performances of Calvin Harris, FKA twigs and Dani Fernández have opened three days of music in the Byzantine capital. Milaris have enjoyed international names, local talent and a surprise performance that has surprised the Kobetamendi audience.

The quartet of the American saxophonist has starred in the last night of the Getxo festival, accompanied by the French band Lurium, winner of the 49th Getxo International Jazz Festival Group Competition.

Camille Thurman & The Darrell Green Quartet performed on the second night of the Getxo jazz festival in Muxikebarri. Thurman, the first woman in the prestigious Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, has been accompanied by the quartet of the famous post-bop drummer Darrell Green: Gregory Glassman (trumpet), Paul Beaundry (bass) and David Bryant (piano).

The Madrid musician presented his "Dedication II" project last night with Muxikebarri, Javier Vercher (tenor saxo), Toño Miguel (double bass), Naima Acuña (drums) and Cristina Mocha (voice as guest artist).

This Wednesday, the 49th edition of Getxo Jazz and, in Ordizia, the Goierri Jazz Festival will begin.

The concert program "Bereziak" will also schedule Las Petunias, Lablackie, Raly, Gara Duran and Joseluis in different corners of Bilbao from 9 to 11 July. 

The group of Gorka Urbizu, Imanol Ubeda, Marino Goñi and Txiki have sold in a few minutes all the tickets for their performances in Biarritz, Azpeitia, Vitoria, Pamplona, Donostia and Bilbao.

The performances will take place in Doña Casilda Park on Friday, June 12, from 16:00 to 22:00, and from 23:00 to 23:30, 1,500 drones will perform in the sky of Bilbao.

The Alavesa band will take the stage at Parque Europa on August 26.
