A new edition of the Basking Beat & Bite festival will be held on August 29, with simultaneous concerts in Miami, Santiago de Chile, Helsinki and Tbilisi. The programming will include four current Basque music proposals: Merina Gris, Mirua, Sua and Idoia.

The band of Iñigo Etxezarreta gathered thousands of people in the Parque Europa in Bilbao this Tuesday during the Aste Nagusia. In addition to their well-known songs, the band was encouraged to sing the song of the parties in Bilbao and the fans there started dancing with handkerchiefs. Initially, the concert was due to take place this Wednesday, but the group decided to bring the concert forward one day due to the strike called by the technicians of the shows in Euskadi.

Big Week will fill Bilbao with music throughout the week, with extensive concert programming spread across different stages of the city. These are the main performances and schedules to enjoy the musical offerings of the holidays.

The 44th edition of the festival also reaches the gardens of Santa Catalina de Iruña de Oca and Antezana de Foronda, as well as Vitoria.

The quartet of the American saxophonist has starred in the last night of the Getxo festival, accompanied by the French band Lurium, winner of the 49th Getxo International Jazz Festival Group Competition.

Camille Thurman & The Darrell Green Quartet performed on the second night of the Getxo jazz festival in Muxikebarri. Thurman, the first woman in the prestigious Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, has been accompanied by the quartet of the famous post-bop drummer Darrell Green: Gregory Glassman (trumpet), Paul Beaundry (bass) and David Bryant (piano).

The Madrid musician presented his "Dedication II" project last night with Muxikebarri, Javier Vercher (tenor saxo), Toño Miguel (double bass), Naima Acuña (drums) and Cristina Mocha (voice as guest artist).

This Wednesday, the 49th edition of Getxo Jazz and, in Ordizia, the Goierri Jazz Festival will begin.

The concert program "Bereziak" will also schedule Las Petunias, Lablackie, Raly, Gara Duran and Joseluis in different corners of Bilbao from 9 to 11 July.
