A summary, in two words, of what will be news in the Present today.

The public school support platforms in Navarre believe that reducing the number of children in classrooms is essential to improve care, reduce school failure and ensure better attention to diversity. They therefore want to present a popular legislative initiative in the Navarre Foral Parliament calling for a reduction in ratios. They call on the entire educational community to cooperate.

The Navarre Parliament is debating the UPN bill on Thursday, which aims to establish criteria for changing classrooms.

Among the commitments agreed, the two groups have agreed to vote against the UPN bill at tomorrow's session.  This would prevent the closing of classrooms for the next course. 

The President of the Navarre Government has appeared before the Committee of Inquiry of the Navarre Parliament and stressed that there is no corruption in his government.

The harassment complaint was filed anonymously last December against a Chief of Service at the University Hospital of Navarre, and became popular when it was posted on a social network account, where a doctor at that Navarre public hospital reported that the Chief of Service's language and conduct "belittled, humiliated, and described women as' things'" and accused the Director of 'doing nothing even though she was aware of it'.

Unai Hualde, President of the Navarre Parliament of Geroa Bai  acknowledges that it has created a great deal of tension between PSN and Geroa Bai over the announcement by the Education Counsellor about the closure of classrooms, especially because it will weaken the ikastolas. Geroa Bai has asked the Socialist Party not to close classrooms and calmly reorganize the education system.

The former president of the Navarre Government between 2015 and 2019 has appeared for three hours in the Committee of Inquiry of the Navarre Parliament.

In solidarity with the victim, Egham Navarra has concentrated outside the court and called for measures to combat homophobia. 

This afternoon, in Villava, a spectacular storm has fallen. For half an hour, rain and hail have fallen heavily, turning some streets into streams. However, the storm has not caused any significant damage.

The Memory Commission of Estella City Council has organized an event on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the events of Montejurra 1976, attended by the Second Vice-President of Navarra and Counsellor for Memory and Coexistence, Ana Ollo.

Along with the rain, hail and strong winds are expected. 

The attack happened last weekend at the youth football match between C. D. A. Rotxa and U. D. Mutilvera C. 

The burning chapel of the lehendakari Carlos Garaikoetxea has been opened at 10:00 in the palace of Ajuria Enea. Like the lehendakaris Juan José Ibarretxe, Iñigo Urkullu and Patxi López, representatives of all the Basque institutions and political groups have come to Ajuria Enea to acknowledge the contribution made by Garaikoetxea, as well as the citizens who have arrived from many places.

In year-on-year terms, unemployment has also fallen in both the ACV (-3,006) and Navarre (-588).

Five other Basque activists travelling in the Global Sumud fleet have returned on Monday. In the morning, Salim Malla Gutierrez, a professor at the University of Vitoria-Gasteiz, landed at Loiu airport and publicly denounced the "kidnapping in a floating concentration camp" and the "physical and psychological mistreatment" they suffered.

A politician who played an indispensable role in the transition, one of his main responsibilities was to draw and build the structure of the Basque institutions. Disagreements with the PNV led him to create Eusko Alkartasuna. 

The arrest was carried out by the local police of the Navarre capital early on Sunday.
