On Tuesday thermometers will drop, except in the centre of Navarre and the Ribera, where they will remain on alert.

Starting today, we will face the second heat ofthis summer, which will not be as intense as the previous one. It will be hot, especially on Monday, and in the centre of Navarre and the Ribera. The rise in maximum temperatures will be felt todayin the south of the Basque Country (Rioja Alavesa, Centro de Navarra and Ribera), and the authorities have issued yellow warnings.
The Basque Government's Department of Safety has issued a yellow warning in the region of the Ebro (Rioja Alavesa). Temperatures are expected to rise to 36 degrees Celsius. In Navarre, the central area and the Ribera will also be under warning, with maximum of 37-38 degrees.
Monday will be the hottest day of the week, with thermometers rising 4-5 degrees Celsius, activating the orange alert in the interior of Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, and in the center and Ribera of Navarre. In the interior of the ACV, the highs will be around 37-38 ºC; in the center of Navarre and the Ribera, 40-41 ° C. The entire Basque coast (Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa and North), the Pyrenees and the Cantabrian side of Navarre will be on the yellow alert, with maximum of 33 ° C.
On Tuesday, in general, it will be less hot and the Basque Government will maintain the only yellow warning in the Rioja Alavesa (maximum 36 degrees). On the coast the thermometer will be around 27 degrees Celsiusand maximum 31 degrees Celsius in the interior of the ACV. In the middle and south of Navarre, however, there will be no change.
The trend is that the hot summer weather will continue until the end of the week, although the highs will be softer in the ACV, while in the centre and south of Navarre they will continue with highs close to 40 ° C.
