The State Attorney's Office and the Attorney's Office have been in favour of granting an amnesty to Puigdemont in the face of the Supreme's refusal

Both organizations have filed their submissions with the Court of Guarantees of the Treaty requesting the admission of the application for amparo filed by the former president against the Supreme Court's decision not to apply amnesty for embezzlement. Both organizations believe that the Supreme Court should have applied amnesty to him and criticize the "unreasonable and arbitrary" interpretation of the Amnesty Act to prevent its application.

The High Court of Justice of the Basque Country has asked the Constitutional Court whether or not it is constitutional for all Basque public posts to have a linguistic profile in place. One of the three judges who were to decide has issued an individual opinion because, in his view, the law in question "does not cause any imbalance". The Basque Government sees no "legal reason" for asking the question.

The Spanish Government will propose a reform of the Constitution to introduce abortion as a right

Government sources have specified that the reform will establish that all information provided in the field of abortion must have an "objective scientific basis" and be protected by "standards of international organizations" such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the American Psychiatry Association (APA). "" Theories without a scientific basis, such as so-called "post-abortion syndrome", would have no place in these classifications, "the executive has warned.
